THE WORD #2---OBAMA

hello, Von Erich here, this week the word is obama. i know that most people are excited about him taking office, and why would'nt they be? he did win the popular vote, right? but im here to tell you that we wont be living in the garden of Eden come january 21st. it will be more like living with the bums who reside outside of Jacobs Field. quick question, do you enjoy paying inflated taxes right now? well guess what, you'll be paying even more come this time next year. whats that? you think its a good idea to spread the wealth around? the truth is that you will be spreading your wealth around to people who dont even pay taxes. yes, there are people in this country who pay a total amount of "zero" when it comes to federal income taxes. yet, they receive handouts like unemployment and low income housing from the government. and obama wants them to receive more. the only problem is, he wants us(the taxpayers) to pay for it. call me old-fashioned but im a firm beleiver of you keep what you earn. dont get me wrong, paying taxes is fine, it finances the military that keeps our country safe and free. but i draw the line at taking money out of my paycheck to give to some lazy mother of 8 who refuses to get a job and live a normal American life. i apologize for being to general in my criticism of barack obama, but i would be here for a thousand hours if i were to discuss his views on partial-birth abortion, immigration, the war on terror, renewable energy, health care, gun control, and foreign policy. but, those are other words for another day. this has been Von Erich, and may God have mercy on us all.
